Wyndham Garden | Norfolk Downtown

Studio Mas worked with Wyndham Garden Norfolk Downtown to conceptualize ways to integrate this historic landmark into the surrounding NEON District of Norfolk, Virginia.

New geometric abstraction murals on the property, created by contemporary artist Karri McPherson, became a reference point for the color palette of the exterior concept.

The addition of greenery and wood-look planks add vertical elements to the lower entry’s façade, drawing eyes upwards to the building’s iconic window mullions of the guest rooms.

LED lighting was integrated between the wood-look planks to highlight the boldly painted reds and grays between planks, creating a unique experience for guests arriving at night as well.
